AAIWO gives scholarships to needy immigrant women who want to go to school to improve on their skills and seek well-paying jobs.
A $2,000 scholarship is awarded to a qualified medical student. Established by Drs. Jitendra M. and Saryu J. Desai, a scholarship will be available for a South Asian Indian student enrolled full time in his/her second, third, or fourth year at an accredited Pennsylvania medical school. Applicants must be residents of Pennsylvania.
The SEED Foundation's SEED Scholar Program supports Indian youth with scholarships for higher education.
JHM Hotels, Inc. established the Rama Scholarship for the American Dream with a $1,000,001 endowment. The five Rama brothers, principals in the company, emigrated from India to pursue their American Dream. It began with the ownership of one lodging property and grew into a successful operation of 25 properties with 4,000 rooms and more than 1,000 associates. The William K. Schubert Scholarship Program is designed to increase the diversity of registered nurses at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and in our community. The program grants awards annually to assist with tuition and fees for individuals who are preparing to be pediatric registered nurses that provide direct patient care. Student should be a member of one of the underrepresented groups in the registered nursing profession which include male nurses and nurses who are American Indian or Alaska Native, Appalachian, Black or African American, Hawaiian Native or other Pacific Islander, Hispanic or Latino, and any Asian including Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Asian Indian, Thai, or Vietnamese/Southeast Asian.
