Upakar Foundation gives up to 20 four-year renewable scholarships (totaling $40,000) to Indian-American students to help them realize their college dreams. These scholarships acknowledge academic excellence and consider financial need. The 2013 Upakar Scholarship deadline has passed! The post-marked deadline for the application was April 30, 2013. New in 2013 - Upakar Foundation is proud to announce the Upakar Community College Scholarships. This is a 2 year community college scholarship that will convert to a regular Upakar Scholarship for the final 2 years, if a scholar meets certain criteria.
